BRASS REPAIR
All brass instruments are flushed with a dirt and calcium
dissolving, chemical solution that retards the breakdown of
brass and prevents 'red rot'. After the flushing, all
instruments are lubed, reassembled and adjusted to
proper playing condition. An estimate for any additional
work will be given free of charge.
Trumpet Tune-up...........$50
Mouthpiece shank, tuning slides, water key and all valves, springs
guides, and braces are inspected. All felts and corks are replaced.
All valves are cleaned and oiled and the instrument will be adjusted
to its proper playing condition.
An estimate for any additional work (e.g., soldering, stuck tuning
slides or removal of dents) will be given free of charge.
Trombone Tune-up...............$50
Hand slide action, cork stops, tuning slide, water key, braces, slide
connection and mouthpiece shank will be inspected. Hand slide is
cleaned and oiled. Corks are replaced and the instrument will be
